WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR JEUVEAU™ LIKE?
Treatment of frown lines with Jeauvea is a lot simpler than most people think. Done right in our office here in Chicago, Jeauvea is injected into 5 different locations in the brow muscles through a very fine, tiny needle once the skin is clean. The entire process takes maybe 15
minutes at the most and that’s it! Most people return to daily activities immediately afterwards.
Side effects are minimal and if they occur, are typically short lasting but can include pain at the injection site, swelling, redness, slight bleeding/bruising and in rare cases, eyelid droop, headache, and infection. If you see any signs that concern you, do not hesitate to contact our staff immediately.
The effects of Jeuveau™, like with other botulinum toxin injections, naturally wear off after several weeks to a few months. While results won’t go entirely back to where you began, a new round of injections are recommended after at least 3 months to maintain optimal results.
